LITERATURE: My all-time favorite novel is Peter Benchley's Jaws--it really captures suspense in a book and the characters are amazing. J.R.R. Tolkien is probably one of the most creative of all literary geniuses, I think. The Lord of the Rings trilogy has captivated me for years. I am really into Harry Potter, I think that for a modern series, it isn't cheesy or anything, but detailed in rich in story. I am a big fan of Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. I love Michael Crichton's novels, especially Jurassic Park and Sphere. Stephen King is love, and Cujo has been one of my favorite books for years and years.
COMICS (All Types incl. Manga): I am definitely more of a DC person when it comes to popular comics in America. Batman holds my heart, and I enjoy the Harley Quinn mini-series. With Marvel, not my brand of choice, but I do really love X-Men and grew up with them as long as Batman. I also grew up with what I call "old school" manga, and my first love being Sailor Moon ♥, although I very much enjoy some CLAMP series, too.
